Since the mid 90s, iNAGO has focused its core competencies — reasoning technology and natural language processing — on improving Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
Our early involvement in HCI technology came through AQUAZONE, a highly successful desktop virtual aquarium of "living" digital fish. This early Artificial Intelligence software spurred our efforts to create increasingly sophisticated "human" simulations.
The result was an HCI technology breakthrough: NetPeople®, a platform technology for human-like interaction across networks.
With the release of NetPeople version 1.0 in 2000, iNAGO concentrated on growing the business in Japan.
Success in that market, and the fact that R&D is centered in Canada, has led us to begin expanding in North America and planning for the European market.
Today, we are the clear leader in text and voice enabled HCI technology, offering solutions for Internet, wireless, CTI and embedded agents. NetPeople are populating networks and providing automated services on PCs, laptops, wireless devices, car navigation systems and even autonomous robots.
iNAGO continues to look to the future, exploring even more innovative ways for people to communicate with machines.
